NCAA Softball thread

NDSU is 11-3 and playing in the Aztec Invitational in San Diego this weekend. They have an upcoming game against #25 Oregon and are playing strong.

What going on with other softball teams?

Cal Poly is 8-3. They split with number 15 Washington and beat number 6 Northwestern. They play Northwestern again tomorrow.

The Griz don't have a softball team, but Michigan who I follow fairly closely is 12-1 & ranked #13.

Lehigh has gotten off to a rough start. They are participating in the "Lead Off Classic" down south somewhere. After winning a couple games in the NCAA Regional, they beefed up the schedule and the youngin's are getting an education. They're still expected to do well this year and the experience should be beneficial in the long run. I know they lost 3-2 to Coastal Carolina and 10-2 to Ill. State.

Maine is 2-2 at the Panera Bread Challenge in Chattanooga, TN. They beat Eastern Kentucky and UT-Chattanooga and lost to Bowling Green and Miami of Ohio. They play the final game of the weekend today vs. St. Francis (PA).
