The NCAA D-I Wrestling Championships are in Auburn Hills, north of Detroit on March 15-17. Anyone on the Board going to be attending? I'll be there hoping my Moutain Hawks can sneak into the Top 15--so long as we qualify enough from the EIWA Tourney next weekend.

I won't be there. My kids have a wrestling tourney on the 17th. Hope to be home in time to watch the finals (I'm assuming they are televised).

From what I read the Finals will be televised on ESPN 'Live" at 8 PM EST--though I'm not sure what their notion of 'live' is...:rotateh:

My NCAA ticket packet arrived today--and looks like I'm 'down in front'--section 105 in the Palace at Auburn Hills if anyone is familiar with that facility.
Looks like Cap'n Cat may be only AGSer near the vicinity...????

I don't think we'll qualify as a team, but we may have a couple of individuals go to Nationals this year. We've got 3 guys at 27+

I was thinking about making the trek but decided against it although I will be up at ESU next weekend as Lehigh goes for it's 6th straight EIWA championship.

Will be taking off Friday from work so I can attend, also. This should be a wild open tourney. Besides the 5 front runners, some of the schools are gettng better and have a few individuals that could make noise not only for themselves, but in upsetting the brackets. Bucknell's new, resurgent program has made great strides this year.

This has been a rebuilding year for the 'Dogs. We had three, am I right engineer?, Cadets qualify last year and won the SoCon but are wrestling alot of Knobs and Knobmores this season. So unless we have someone qualify, no, I will not be there.:nono:

I'm also traking off Friday and coming down for the whole tournement. Should be an interesting tournement this year.

You're right--Citadel did make some noise last year and it was great to see. We're in a 'rebuilding year' too, although that has a different connotation for us than you guys. We're still hoping to finish in Top 20, and with some guys peaking, I hope we can crack Top 15. Here's hoping the 'knobs' get their spurs.
