SPARTANBURG, S.C. - Despite fighting back in the ninth inning with a valiant two-run effort, Penn was unable to close the three-score gap, falling to Wofford for the third consecutive time, 5-4. The Quaker offense never fully powered up during the game, as double RBI singles by both senior Andrew Murnane (4th inning) and sophomore Chris Adams (9th inning) marked the lone scoring plays for the day.
