Tragic story about 2016 Dartmouth graduate Ernest Evans and how his family is trying to help the former quarterback after he suffered a traumatic brain injury only months after earning his degree. There's a note on BGA (https://biggreenalertblog.blogspot.com/2018/02/for-ernest.html) and the original story is in the Valley News (http://vnews.com/Ernest-Evans-feature-15279987). There's a link in both places for a campaign to help his family as they try to nurse him back to health.

Very sad no matter what happened. But has to be very difficult for family to not even know what happened. Best wishes to Ernest Evans and his family.

The Valley News link is not working for me. But tragic story nonetheless. xsmhx

This is very sad. It seems like he had it all going for him. He had a great attitude even though he rode the bench for four years. But he got an Ivy League diploma and a good job in Southern California. What a great future he had.

Tough story; the unknowns are always the hardest to deal with for families...may the Evans family's strength help him heal as quickly and completely as possible.

How sad. Prayers for him and his family. So much promise. But life isn't over yet. I bet he's a fighter...football players are made that way...
