Mountain Hawks made a long flight to Tempe, AZ and put some severe "shade" on the #8 Sun Devils with a 22-13 win. Lehigh celebrated with the return to the lineup of Parker at 133 and Preisch at 184, who both notched nice wins. However, the 'star' of the night was unranked Cortland Schuyler majoring #8 Tsirtsis at 149. If he can become consistent, he could be a real dark horse All-American threat, along with late bloomer, Weiler at 197. The R/S freshman destroyed his Sun Devil opponent with a 15-0 tech fall at the end of the first period. Also impressive was Lehigh's R/S frosh heavyweight, Jordan Wood who took #5 Tanner Hall into double OT, only to lose on criteria of 5 seconds of riding time with the score knotted at 5-5. Lehigh returns home next weekend to finish up with Oklahoma on Friday night and Pitt on Sunday afternoon. Both matches in Grace Hall. With a full strength line up Mountain Hawks are threat to crack top 5 at NCAA's.
