They have a better record (overall and in conference), however we have more impressive OOC wins and beat them on there floor. Very interesting:eyebrow:

the media just does it to keep us "mid majors" happy.

An announcer on ESPN just plugged for App to get an at-large bid.

Is there a Women's BB edition of the Mid Majors?

If so, there are a bunch of VERY good Championship football schools with GREAT women's teams this year.

What did he say?

I saw one plug for us on Saturday. He said that we have a great shot to get an at large spot IF we win the rest of our games and make the SoCon tourney final and lose. He plugged in our wins at UVA, Vandy, and VMI and said that App is a team than NO ONE wants to see in the first rounds.

gives us false hope, is what they do. I'm a fan of the MM poll the Griz were in it last year, but when they say App. St has an at large-bid or another MM, its hope. The chances that the comm. pick an App. St over Duke is little to none. (doesnt mean i agree with it)

Even though the lady griz are doing well, they did lose to Ohio St. by about 45. But i think they have improved since then...hopefully. Go Lady Griz!!!
