Tough time for Austin Peay coach to resign. The program is looking at moving into the OVC this coming year and they had a rough go as is as an independent. This is a tough job and best of luck to whomever fills it. Any clue if they'll fill from inside?

McCray resigns as Austin Peay football coach
Austin Peay head football coach Carroll McCray announced his resignation, Monday, effective immediately. McCray finished his fourth season as the Governors head coach in 2006, leading APSU to a 3-8 mark as a NCAA Football Championship Subdivision Independent. Austin Peay’s football team will rejoin the Ohio Valley Conference in 2007, completing a return to scholarship football initiated during McCray’s tenure.

Peay's coach cited "family concerns" in the Carolinas for leaving APSU.

Furman is looking for an O-line coach and that is Carroll McCray's specialty.

Hmmm...

Out.

Interesting possibility. He does have impressive OL credentials.
