Foles>Wentz. And that shouldn’t even be a question at this point. Wentz needs to be traded and Foles needs to be extended ASAP.

Foles gets hot and plays well....great. Foles started the season bad and probably would have done the same the rest of the season.
We'll see which player stays on this team. CW's contract will be extended after this season.
Foles is a decent back up.

Telling you now. The Eagles letting Wentz start over Foles has been a mistake. Foles isn’t old by any means. If Philly played it smart they’d build around Nick mothe’*****n Foles. Sounds crazy right?

Foles will play the remaining games. Wentz with stress fracture in vertebrae isn't going to be exposed unless necessary. If Foles gets hurt Iggles will go with Sudfield rest of schedule. In the unlikely event they get in playoffs, I still think they start with Foles, if not hurt.

Saints score to go ahead and go for two. Pass is picked off at the goal line and run back for two the other way. Don't see that happen very often.

There were plenty of good seats at the Bills-Lions game! Buffalo has some legit potential if they can get Allen some weapons. I'm a weird NFL fan in that I've literally liked the Pats since the Parcells era, been going to Bills games for 15 years or so and enjoy watching the Eagles. New Era Field is an awesome place to watch a game. Old school stadium that shouldn't be torn down. An Arrowhead type renovation would be great!

What's funny is the Eagles might have built around Foles after the 2014 season but 1) he suffered a season-ending injury about halfway through the season (in a game I attended, ironically against Houston), 2) he didn't play nearly as well in 2014 as he did during his spectacular 2013 season, though he still was having a reasonably good 2014 season before his injury, and 3) Chip Kelly wasn't that high on Foles and was enamored with Sam Bradford, so prior to the 2015 season the Eagles made a (IMO, ridiculous) trade with the Rams to acquire Bradford, giving up a little more draft value to even out the trade. (IMO, Foles had more value than Bradford at the time of the trade.)

Boy, I'm so disappointed the NFL's regular season is meaningless late in the season, unlike (FBS/DI-A) college football's regular season, because the NFL actually allows more than four teams in the playoffs. Week 16 of the NFL regular season was a snoozefest.
Hopefully everyone can sense the sarcasm in my comments above.

You must have missed the thread where LM had his panties in a bunch over Wentz because of CW “dumping” his college girlfriend. He thinks Wentz lacks character and that is the nexus of his issues. Pretty sad really. That being said, the Iggles have a QB dilemma brewing.

I’m well aware of LMs Wentz hate.
The Eagles are either going to have to pay Wentz or Foles. They really can’t do both and Foles is making his ask price pretty Streep with his pay.
I think they role with Wentz. He damn near won an MVP and he’s only in year 3. Foles has been up and down.
Btw I’d be happy if Wentz got out of Philly. They are salary cap ****ed after this year.

Problem is Foles will want to be a starter with how he’s playing, that or he’s going to need a ton of money to remain a backup. Eagles won’t be able to afford both of them.

If he wants to start, this is how I see it.
Most Likely: Jacksonville, New York Giants, Tampa Bay, Miami, Redskins (If Alex Smith is done)
Possible: Denver, Dallas (If they move on from Dak), Tennessee (If Mariota has nerve damage), Cincinnati
Least Likely to NGTH: Everywhere else...

It seem he does much better coming off the bench. Peterson also has a different game plan for when hes in the line up. He might be better served to stay with Philly.

First, by Foles' post game account, he is okay to go. likely a bruised rib. As for the QB debate, it is Foles' gig for the rest of this season. He has the mojo going and you don't mess with that. Wentz can go if Foles goes down, and he understands the situation. There is an option for Foles to return to Iggles next season, but at $20M! Can't see that happening for a backup. Philly has some other contract issues, so as much as I love what Foles has done, I think the Iggles still see Wentz at the future. They should be able to get a some high draft picks for Foles. Philly is loaded with receivers right now and is a team no one wants to face. The defense was tremendous today. Granted it was the Redskins, but holding them down like they did was nice to see. I think it would be great if they can get back to the Super Bowl and face KC. Reid is the guy who saved Foles' career, and Pederson was Andy's acolyte. Great storyline for the game. Plus, if the Iggles can't win it, again, it would be nice to see Reid finally hoist the trophy.

I'm just glad they ruled the way they did on the incomplete pass review in the Chi/Phi game. It may have been a catch-and-fumble in actuality, but since they whistled the play dead as an incomplete pass and essentially stopped anyone from making a recovery, sticking with the original call on the field is the most fair thing to do.

True, but I don't see it having an impact on the drop. It was right through his hands. Amazing when you consider all the really tough catches he made throughout the season. Really felt for the guy as the loss gets magnified on that, but the Iggles lost this game in the second quarter. Still, they got a hell of a lot farther than I thought they'd do back in November. Pederson, while I question some play calling, gets credit for keeping the team together after the Saints blowout in November. I really question Schwart'z decision not to blitz, at all. A guy like Bress cannot be allowed to be comfortable back there. Would have liked to see the Iggles go against the Chiefs because of the Reid/Pederson match up.. Finally, the SI Jinx struck two weeks in a row...

Why would he take a pay cut? Kirk Cousins got 84 million guaranteed. Case Keenum got 18 mil a year. I'd say Foles is 21 mil a year. 2 years guaranteed.

the lack of a PI call on the Rams was of course the most egregious officiating f-up.
but that "roughing the passer" call against the Chiefs was horrible too.
while coaches shouldn't be able to challenge stuff like that, I think the NFL should be able to buzz the refs and overturn things like those two things.

If you lose a game due to lack of execution, that's one thing. To lose it because of an external force is bull**** through and through.
The Saints may not have played the "best" they possibly could have but they were able to put themselves in a position to win. That's all that matters. They were robbed of that position by a factor outside of their own control.
