Different Kinda Fantasy Baseball

I created a league thats a little different then most.

You pick a team, probably your favorite if there available. I will load the top 30 players available from that team, and thats your team for the year.

The only way you can add players is if a member of your team goes on the DL you can (a) choose to keep him and use other players on the roster or (b) release him and notify the commisioner of who you want to replace him (its a 16 team league so theres gonna be top players from 14 other teams initially available) If you release a player, you cant reclaim him until you have another spot open because of a DL stint. THus if your team is the phillies and Ryan Howard gets injured and gets a 15 day DL stint, its prolly wiser to go the route of the first option.

If you join and your chosen team has already been taken I will let you know to pick a new team or I will have to delete you from the league.

Prior to the season start I will poll the teams and the majority will rule on what type of league it will be, rotiserie, head to head or total points.

Obviously it will be better to chose a team that has a dominating offense or a dominating pitching staff.

That offense is gonna be deadly and the pitching staff could be one of the better ones in the NL, that is aslong as Glendon Rusch doesnt pitch to Bronson Arroyo xlolx

I forgot to add that at any time you can request to drop and replace a player with another player whos a member of that team, for example if you have the Yankees and they call up Philip Hughes u can drop someone and get him.

Some very good teams still available include

Atlanta Braves - Decent offense and much improved pitching staff led by John Smoltz and the return of Mike Hampton.

Toronto Blue Jays - Deadly offense pitching has some question marks beyond Haladay, Burnett and the closer.

Chicago White Sox - Aside from Boston and Detroit may have the best rotation going into the season, and the offense isnt to shabby either.

Texas Rangers, Phillies, Astros, Cards among other top teams still available

Travis - do you edit the lineups exclusively?

Somehow, so far, I'm beating the Tigers this week with a NA 1st baseman, no 2nd baseman, and only 7 of the alloted 12 slots of pitchers. xlolx xlolx

The add players section is locked by design I guess? Am I out of luck as far as getting some players?

if u want to add or drop players let me know who and what team u are.

u can drop anyone for any player on your team.

You can drop a DL player for any available player of similar level, If i decide a player u want isnt similar level to who u drop u can appeal and the whole league will vote on it.

If u release a DL player he can be claimed by anyone whos replacing a DL player so dont drop a star plyer thinking u can get him back when hes off the DL

Im guessing no on Konerko and Hudson but i'd have to know who the other players are but since there in the minors its not looking good. lol and besides they have to be DL to swap for players not already a member of ur fracnhise.

OK best I can do for u i dropped the DL players and found some who are major upgrades that fell within the ranking system for u also added some pitchers who are significant upgrades for u over DL guys u need to click to thur to see the new players and set ur lineup
