Mountain Hawks were without #2 (at time of injury) Parker at 133 and #4 Preisch at 184 on their trip to #12 Cornell and could not win three "toss-up" matches, to lose to the Big Red, 23-14. Lehigh won bouts at 125 (#3 Cruz 19-6, but could not get the fall), 157 #18 Brown 10-1, 174 #5 Kutler 4-1 and 285 #12 Wood 8-3. Parker's sub at 133, Farro came close to closing one leak, but lost 3-1 in sudden victory. Disappointing night, but rather lose this dual and win the EIWA Tourney March 4 at Hofstra and knock the Big Red off the league pedestal.

Lehigh bounced back today at Army, 30-6, with the only points scored by the Black Knights of the Hudson on an injury default by Schuyler at 149. Third string Paul Dunn subbed at 184--had to drive up from Bethlehem last night after Price injured at Cornell and Preisch not ready yet--and pulled off a 6-4 surprise win. A feel-good win for a kid who has not had many varsity opportunities in his career. Mountain Hawks now 9-2 on the season with a visit to #10 Va. Tech on Friday night. Fingers crossed that Parker and/or Preisch are back in the lineup. They will be needed.
