Definitely a huge improvement. Being able to flip the field is huge. The coverage was excellent as well.

What's the elevation in Fargo? I didn't think it was anything crazy.900 ft iirc. Barely any different than coastal California. The speed difference between NDSUs offense and Cal Polys defense looks like what you see at the end of a Wyoming home game. They are either sick or just slow.

Hey good to see you again, so what is your take with Poly this year.. Bison are just that good or rebuilding??? your take?
I think we were WAY TO YOUNG on our D-line. We started 2 Rfr and a true freshman on the D-line. Tough first game for them. They are talented and will grow as the season goes on. Problem is 5 of our first 6 oppents are ranked. I think we will be ok on offense. If we can move the ball and eat the clock on teams not name the Bison it will help out our young D. I really think we will rebound, but a tough game to start the season coming off a very bad 2017 season.

Great to see a bunch of guys from AGS. Missed POD and dewey this time around.

NDSU OL and DL are very good. Total domination of Cal Poly.

Prothroe didn't do much of nothing on this defense. I expected more from him. Are his stats a product of playing in a conference that doesn't have good defenses top to bottom?

45 carries for 458 yards rushing for NDSU....xthumbsupx

Didn't need the passing game today. NDSU probably could have run for 500 or 600 and not throw a pass.

Not sure on what the glean from the game.....NDSU's O Line is nasty. Anderson and Dunn are a scary RB combo. The defense is as advertised....not a fan of giving up big plays in the passing game, but I think alot of that has to do with the triple option and getting complacent. Didn't need to throw the ball much....but I don't know what the Bison have at WR.

If you count what they did against the first string, it is even worse.

Prothroe showed me....not much. He is a decent RB but his stats, IMO, are a product of him playing in the Big Sky. Bruce Anderson, Lance Dunn and Ty Brooks are better RBs.

This is why I am confused why we even pass it as much as we have been known to? Throw in the occasional PA TE route or slant but just run the damn ball and #BringBackTheVeer

With the current landscape of the FCS, when NDSU has 3 #1 RBs and Brock as a solid FB, Power I, Delta, A-Gap, and Wishbone should be the offense while leaving Shepherd and Cain/Freeman out there to keep the defense honest every once in awhile.

Put Protheroe behind the Bison O-line and facing three freshman D-linemen starting their first game and I am sure your opinion would be different. I am also sure that all of your great backs (and there is no arguing they are great) would not have had as big as night if they were facing a very stout Bison D instead of a very young Mustang D.

Two Big Sky teams that didn't make the playoffs last year beat two Valley teams that did over the weekend!

Plus that is really easy to say for any RB in the FCS....."put them behind the Bison OL"....

He is good but IMO, his stats are a product of the conference he is in....one big factor IMO.

SDSU's defense held NDSU to 161 total rushing yards a few weeks later in the Fargodome.

Sure the playoffs were a different story but I watched Poly and Prothroe beat the Jacks and he was a tackle breaking machine that day, easily the best player on the field. I would guess that 29 of his 31 carries were on the fullback dive play. NDSU has great backs with much different running styles but the dissing of Prothroe, coming back from injury, against the Bison defense, I don't agree!

Great to see a bunch of guys from AGS. Missed POD and dewey this time around.

NDSU OL and DL are very good. Total domination of Cal Poly.

Prothroe didn't do much of nothing on this defense. I expected more from him. Are his stats a product of playing in a conference that doesn't have good defenses top to bottom?

Didn't need the passing game today. NDSU probably could have run for 500 or 600 and not throw a pass.

The honey is outstanding. I’m not normally a honey guy, but that’s some damn good honey.

I think I figured out why I’m not normally a honey guy. Here is some of NWMN’s honey - I was lucky to get a couple of these because one is damn near gone. Like down to the feet gone - next to a local honey from our basic area.

Massive color difference. Massive flavor difference. I’m assuming it’s what the bees are pollinating is the difference. The Iowa stuff is - for complete lack of a better few words - more bitter(?) and “full”.

In terms of beer it’s like the Iowa honey is a stout and NWMN’s is a wheat or Hefeweizen. I’m guessing the “wheat” is probably a key word there.

My very soon to be 3 year old loves it. I can’t convince my 5 year old to try anything she doesn’t already like so she’s mostly lost.

He should have been 6 for 9 for about 80 yards. That is all you need when the run game goes for 450. No need to have Stick take any unnecessary shots.
