I said something along the lines of how I missed the shrimp and grits for the MVSU game last year and I hoped tony was going to have them for the Poly game since I was going. He agreed to do so.

I don't really have any stories, he wrecked a car of mine, a 1990 Geo Storm (yea, I owned one), and I made him pay me $700, he is still kind of bitter over that because the car was probably worth $400 in scrap metal. I remember one time I went to his apartment while he was in college and asked for a beer and he didn't have any, WTF. No real complaints here.

The beer/college thing is probably true. I worked a ton during school and didn't keep a lot of booze around...seemed like I was in bars more when I drank than at my place. I had a crew that would occasionally play poker at my place which would lend itself towards beer/cigars, but that wasn't a weekly thing.

My only concern is if they have a dynamic playmaker at quarterback like Georgia Southern did in 2012 with Jerrick McKinnon. He could get tot he edge so quickly that it gave NDSU fits. If he isn't that quick than NDSU will whoop them.

SDSU gave up over 400 yards rushing....no way that happens to NDSU's defense this year. Protheroe will not get to 100 yards.

That would have been me...I live in San Diego and work with a huge Bison fan/alum. Five to ten years ago this would have been a fun game to watch and I probably would have come up with the $$$ to make the trip. This year with a moron of a head coach who has driven the program into the dirt it will be a drubbing like the Mustang faithful have rarely seen. My son is a die hard Cal Poly fan, 14 years old. We follow the Bison because they play great football. My son's prediction on the score 73-10 Bison....sad. I just hope they play with character and heart.

Truth be told, I really don't even like golf anymore. I don't play alot.....its more of an excuse to smoke a cigar or two and get outside. Its a miracle I finish 18 holes.....and I'm really only good for an occasional tee shot or random approach shot in a scramble format.

I like that course, it is kind of a mix of links and "tree-lined" holes and plays about 7000 from the tips.

My 40 year old sticks can still break 90, use to break 80 when I was younger and golfed more often.

It was an 18-hole playoff. Jack versus Jack. One, a long-hitting Ohio teenager with golden locks. The other, a budding star from Iowa.


One Jack went on to win three Pine to Palm tournaments in Detroit Lakes, Minn., carve out a decent PGA Tour career and later become a thriving entrepreneur. The other went on to become arguably the biggest name in golf history.
The scene took place 59 years ago at Edgewood Golf Course, tucked inside an oxbow of the Red River in north Fargo. The Jaycees tournament was one of the biggest junior events of its day and the kid from Ohio, 16-year-old Jack Nicklaus, was already making a name for himself as he traveled with his father, Charlie, to Fargo.

I’ve got a 520 mile drive home on Sunday to a wife that will have had a 5 year old and 2 year old by herself for 4 days at that point. I’ll be getting hourly requests for an ETA home by 9am Sunday morning xlolx. So it won’t be super early but it’ll be relatively early.
