I want to go back on record as saying, in a thread last year, when Hawkins took the CU job, he was making a huge mistake. The faculty there think they're f'ing Swarthmore or Amherst or something. After the shenanigans that took place under Gary Barnett, they'll never let him recruit under NCAA rules. He'll always be on "Double Secret Probation." Should he have the temerity to win the Big 12, the faculty will probably accuse him of cheating.

The stress and futility of it all is getting to him. CU's days of mediocrity are back.

Maybe that why they were 2-10 last year.
Too many peoples momma's getting in the way.

He didn't say anything wrong or cuss anybody out.
He told the truth.
People have gotten so soft that a person can't even speak the truth.
There was nothing wrong, or deameaning in his statements.

I could understand all the hoop-la if he cussed someone out or something.

Also, regarding the self impossed recruiting limitations for the most part those have been lifted or heavily reduced in the last year or so. This was all sort of done on the down low because they made such a big stink about implementing them they didn't want to draw attention to the fact they were back tracking on most of it because it really had nothing to do with the issues at hand.
