Furman nabs SC State DC

SC State's defensive coordinator is headed to Greenville to coach cornerbacks and co-coach special teams. Tom Evangelista seems like a good hire, he's definitely smart... double majored in math and computer science at Vandy. Previously the Paladins had one DB coach, Jeff Farrington, who had been a DC at ETSU before coming (back) to Furman several years ago. Presumably he'll still handle safeties and put more time in as recruiting coordinator.
