I find it extremely weird how NDSU fans are framing this as "Sam Houston sucks" instead of "guys....North Dakota State is really good"

Like, not saying it's good or bad, just that most fanbases on here in the midst of a blowout in the semifinals feel good because they know they are piledriving a good team, but out of pure sandbaggage or disdain for SHSU y'all see it differently.

I just hope JMU beats SDSU tomorrow so the MVFC folks can end the delusion that it's the conference head and shoulders above everyone when it's really NDSU head and shoulders above everyone in November/December

Can't remember what thread I mentioned it in, but NDSU is a high-level G5 team...flirting with the FBS Top 25...better attendance than most of the MAC or Sun Belt. The only thing FCS about them is that they play in an FCS conference and only have 63 scholarships. Everything else is on-par or better than average for a G5 team.

SHSU is a pretty good FCS team.
NDSU is on another level...you might as well have SHSU facing off against Boise State or Memphis (this year).

That's what I mean...they're both ranked in most FBS Top 25 rankings as really good G5 programs. NDSU is equal to or better than both. Occasionally a good FCS team will pick off a game against them (SDSU this year...JMU last year)...but not real often.
