The Elon University football team, ranked as high as 15th in the nation, will make its second-ever NCAA Division I Football Championship appearance as the Phoenix will play host to the Furman Paladins on Saturday, Nov. 25 at 1 p.m. The Phoenix finished the regular season with an 8-3 overall record and posted a 6-2 mark in CAA Football play in 2017. Elon's run in the 2017 NCAA FCS Playoffs is presented by Courtyard by Marriott Burlington.
