USD also has one of the strongest sos in the country. I wouldn't be surprised to see either South Dakota school make it to the semi finals. Ofc USD will be fed into Fargo now in the 2nd round if they make the playoffs so none of it will matter anyway.

Agreed. I'm certainly not the as well versed on the ins and outs of football as some nor have I seen every single top 15 team play but I will say from a eyeball test, the Dakota teams (NDSU, SDSU, SD) are the teams I'm most worried about as a JMU fan.

I have played a few sports in my lifetime, plus did a few hard 14ers and 8-10 hour hikes. So I know a thing or 2 about cramps. Having cramps every time USD got going was low, add to that the player could've removed himself from the field. A cramp is not a sprain or a tear. It was pretty low if SDSU used the cramps to slow the game repeatedly.

You bet I watched them play, I was at the game when they played NDSU (35 point loss for USD), so what is your point? It is a fact, that they are not going into the playoffs with forward momentum, losing 4 of the last 5. No selection committee likes to see that in a team with a bubble record. Teams in the past have been left out for that very reason, so the NCAA would have a tough time explaining why this year they give USD a pass where they have told other teams "oh to bad".

What quality wins, they have only one, WIU. That win against Bowling Green.........give me a break, they finished 2-9 in a weak conference. USD lost to all but one playoff team from the MVFC. They have the worst conference record of any of the 7-4 teams.

It was just me. It wasn't the commentators calling out SDSU "gamesmanship". Plus the thousands of SD fans that were booing every time the " cramp" came along. It was in bad taste to use cramps to slow down another team.

Isn't that the goal? To ensure the East Coast teams have the best chance to win and prevent the Valley from "truly" supplanting the CAA and SoCon. If it is not at least a 3 and 1, the chair is going to have some explaining to do. There is no reason why SDSU and NDSU should not be split up.

Fwiw, I didn't really agree with the targeting call... How else are you supposed to take on a block? Was it a dangerous play? Of course. But I think it was an incorrect use of targeting.

Having said that, in regards to most of your other posts in this thread, I hope you kept your receipt for those grapes. They are overly sour. Could be a product of your tears intoxicating them from 2 weeks ago though.

Only schools with Dakota in their name are within bus distance of NDSU. However, UNI is bus distance of SDSU. So UNI will be routed there, and USD will be sent to Fargo in second round.
WIU is the eastern most MVFC school. So, yeah, they'll be the only mvfc on other side, unless nsdu/sdsu don't seed together. Then it will be a 3-2 split.
