View Full Version : Drumlines and Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Models

As reported by GoGrambling.com in August 2006 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit models were on the campus of Grambling State and Univ. of So. Cal for photo shoots with the repsective bands drumlines. The issue hits the stands Feb. 14th. One of the drumlines may get a chance at the cover, which is huge being that this is SI biggest selling issue.

One of the drumlines may get a chance at the cover, which is huge being that this is SI biggest selling issue.


Hope it's the GSU line that gets the nod. Much more deserving school AND band.

How in the HELL did USC get mentioned in the same place with Grambling's band or any good band for that matter.

Many people outside of the SWAC find it hilarious. For entertainment value, I'll take just about any SWAC, MEAC, CIAA, SIAA, etc. band over most of the "big boys" any day. :hurray: :hurray:

(I have to use the "just about any" caveat because I've not had the pleasure of experiencing performances by all of these bands - yet)

USC's band isn't a good traditional band (if this the right term?). Their cheerleaders are good but the band is lacking.
