OK, which one of our well-off posters has entered a horse in the Kentucky Derby?

That's right, a horse named Any Given Saturday is scheduled to run for the roses, and he seems to be pretty good, winning his first 2 starts as a 2-year old, and then coming 2nd by half-a-length in the Kentucky Jockey Club race a couple of months ago.

He is training down in Palm Beach, and next goes February 17th in a race called the Sam F. Davis.

Will be following him because "he ... could ... go ... all ... the ... way".

Best part of it is that it may increase publicity for our site...

Google 'Any Given Saturday' and this site comes up #1 and #2...

Hopefully AGS has success at the track!

Any Given Saturday is a part of the Winstar stable.

Winstar's owner is Kenny Trout - a graduate of Southern Illinois...

"Can do.
Can do.
This guy says the horse can do.
If he says the horse can do.
Can do.
Can do."

---Guys and Dolls

I'd say as good a bet as there ever was. How good do we look if he wins the Triple Crown?

Any Given Saturday won his three year old debut yersterday, a stakes race at Tampa Bay Downs. The horse looks like a legitimate Derby contender.

Might just be alluding to the Triple Crown and numerous other races ran on Saturdays....or you never know, he might be one of us:smiley_wi
