GSU is in third place after 2 rounds at the Gator Invitational and are only 2 shots back of the leaders, Wake Forest. Coastal is strong again in the 5th spot only 6 strokes back.

After a 'down' year last season, it looks like we could return as one of the top programs in the country. Our new state of the art facilities are paying dividends.

But the good news is you now have a women's team. :smiley_wi

I was there when the first female cadet played in the Southern Conference tournament.

That is a feat that we are not proud of. Women don't belong at my school.

I agree we played horrible today as well. Our top guys didn't even finish in the Top 5. : smh :

It's early though, we'll both rebound hopefully.

Colgate has a beautiful course (Seven Oaks Golf Club) but it is presently covered by a lot of snow, so this white background is a good a depiction of present course conditions as any. :p

Wow. GSU's facilities are awesome. The Texas State team doesn't even practice on campus. They have to go 15 minutes up the road to Kyle to play at Plum Creek Country Club. Texas State has a pretty good 9-hole course right by the football field. Color me impressed.

JSU's course is rated the 22nd toughest in the country by Golf Digest in 2007.

22. SILVER LAKES (BACKBREAKER/HEARTBREAKER)
GLENCOE / ALA. / 7,674 YARDS / PAR 72
The first of three courses on our list from Alabama's mighty, merciless Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail. The names of the nines say it all. There's also a third nine, called the Mindbreaker. When we played here, we thought of some other names for these courses, too.

I've played all 9's. Pretty damn tough. I played Back and Heart and shot 78 and thought I had conquered the world!
