Here are the rules;

2. Playoffs will count but I haven't figured out the rules yet.
3. 1 point per game picked correctly.
4. If you change a pick before the deadline of one game but after the deadline of another game quote your previous post so that way I can verify that you didn't change other games.
5. You will win exactly nothing...Except a larger ego:D
6. Please make it easier for me and use the school name, abbreviation or mascot (i.e. NDSU, North Dakota State University or Bison).
7. If you miss 3 weeks I will not be counting your score.

Northern Iowa at Missouri St - I think the Bears put up more points and make this closer than most expect but UNI survives.
South Dakota at North Dakota St - Making this pick as much with my heart as my head... hoping the Bison can right the ship.
Youngstown St at Southern Illinois - The Penguins take out their frustration on SIU's backup QB.
Illinois St at South Dakota St - The vindictive side of me wants to pick the Redbirds since SDSU tends to underperform when things start going too well for them and this is a prime letdown game spot but they are just playing too well right now to pick against them.

If NDSU loses this weekend and you will have picked both South Dakota and South Dakota State to beat NDSU you will be a hunted man:D

DeweyWhat are you going to hunt me for, the Bison inability to beat a team with a mobile QB that can throw, our D is grossly overrated particularly against teams with legitimate QB's that can run and throw. I hope I am wrong, but I know which teams will give the Bison trouble and it is teams like USD and SDSU, we barely beat USD last year down there and they beat us in our own building the year before. Anybody that thinks this will be a cake walk might be delusional. I also think that we are missing Dunne more than we realize, Bruce Anderson, God bless him, is not Dunne. Also, Stick is great competitor but our receivers simply do no get the separation that is required to support an average to above average QB. Did you see how many yards of separation some of these receivers get against our D, do you ever see this when the Bison are on offense, nope, we have a QB throwing into tighter windows than any other QB in the conference. I don't know if this is offensive scheming or just the fact that our WR's are just not that good.

OK, done with the rant, this NDSU team looks a lot like last year's team, we are a playoff team but we just aren't there yet to make the big run. Too many holes on D. Teams that throw the ball will give us nightmares.

Western Illinois @ Indiana State-ISUb has a lot to play for, like getting the seniors a win and playing spoiler, but WIU pulls away in the 3rd. Leathernecks 59-20
Northern Iowa @ Missouri State-The Bears looked good against SIU last week, but the Panthers looked like a really good playoff team. Panthers win 37-14
South Dakota @ North Dakota State-The Bison don't usually lose 2 in a row, and it won't start now. Bison 27-17
Youngstown State @ Southern Illinois-YSU is riddled with injuries, but the loss of Straub is SIU's demise. Penguins win 38-7
Illinois State @ South Dakota State-If the ISU from the first half show up last week, it could be close. If not, the Jacks run away with it. Rabbits win 30-21

[Redbird 4th & short]

W​estern Illinois at Indiana State - WIU should dominate .. 4 TD win

Northern Iowa at Missouri State - this looks like a trap type game .. MoST improving, but so is UNI. UNI to win surprisingly close game .. 10 point win

South Dakota at North Dakota State - RB Dunn out for season really hurts their offense - Anderson just isn't as good, and Stick is limited as QB .. though runs well if needed. Going to assume Streveler is ready to go and will carry his team to 3 point win.

Youngstown State at Southern Illinois - SIU lost whatever mojo they had, YSU wins higher scoring game by 10 points

Illinois State at South Dakota State - feeling better the more I look at this match up, so going with my heart and need to make up a little more ground
