Their top 5 must not be accurate, as "Griz Vision" in Washington Grizzly Stadium has a main video screen that measures 32'x55' (1760 square feet), plus 12'x31' displays on each side (372 square feet each), for a total of 2,504 square feet.

We don't have as big a video section, but for the size of the overall board, pretty sure we have one of the biggest. Almost spans the field width. Might be time to upgrade.

It is indeed a nice new video board, congrats. Our was supposed to be the 4th largest, but I couldn't actually find the square footage. If they actually took away the advertising it would be much nicer. Daktronics did an excellent job with the resolution though.

Yeah, they don't have ours updated since the new stadium this year. I have seen our resolution, but I couldn't find any tweets or articles with our actual size. I don't think we would actually be in the top 5, but it is big, bright and nice...much better than when we played in the HS stadium.....

Daktronics supplies most of the boards in sports, the two main boards in the Dome are 31x100 each, they also has smaller boards on the back of each and 4 corner boards all Daktronics. I'm sure someone will give the exact SQ ft of it total

We have a big screen from Walmart. Works with VHS, Betamax, and we might actually be getting a DVD upgrade in a few years. You can actually see what's on it if you're within 12 feet of it too ;)

Ok, I did finally go back to an older article and found it: 25x64ft for a total of 1600 sqft.

got our recently installed (2014) Daktronics video board beat .. ours is just 47 x 26. I wish I had a pic of the old sound system .. no lie here ... 2 huge speakers, bungee'd together on a folding table beneath the old score board. It was horrible crackling sound when they tried to blast the music.

This new score board was installed a year after we completely demolished and rebuilt new home/east side for 2013 season.

Hopefully Monmouth tilted it towards the stands. The scoreboard that I saw last September was aimed downfield so that half the one-sided stadium could not read it.

What is actually cool about the Citadel board is that it gives you the basic offensive stats throughout the game; or at least has a place for it. How many of our boards, even newer Daktronic boards, are doing that? If yours is like ours, after the huge advertising taking up too much reality, there isn't much space left...

That is one thing I really like about it. I think it was broke for a couple games, but it has been working lately. And it is big enough to see from everywhere in the stadium.

No, it's a reflection of the "temporary" scoreboard that's awaiting the stadium upgrade. That's actually the old soccer team scoreboard from 2002 "repurposed" (a common term at GU) for football. By 2006, the new scoreboard would be there, right?

I think we had worse a few years ago with a board that only worked half the time. Our new one isn't spectacular, but it does have video and it actually works, which is nice.
