I tried to give a paragraph of analysis (some positive and negative) of each team's performance and what to expect going forward, but had trouble with VMI and Western because there's not much to say about the former and the latter I feel like we know nothing about them again without Adams.

I tried to give a paragraph of analysis (some positive and negative) of each team's performance and what to expect going forward, but had trouble with VMI and Western because there's not much to say about the former and the latter I feel like we know nothing about them again without Adams.

WCU's backup, Ray Smith, was a good looking athlete. It was hard to get a good feel for what he can do, though, given the conditions. WCU fell behind and had to start throwing at some point, which is not a great place to be against a good pass rushing team in a deluge. He did a good job avoiding pressure and scrambling for yards, though.
