On ESPN2...
Let's beat those Mexicans!
Two new coaches, same amazing rivalry! Let's keep the domination in our favor...
The United States has gone 7-2-1 against the Mexicans since 2000, including 6-0-1 in the US, while outscoring the Tri Colores 11-0 on US soil in those games....

Still tied at zero as we approach the 38th minute...
Nice to see a full house for a US soccer match. Big year for the MLS. I hope a lot of great things happen for soccer in the USA this year between the US Soccer schedule CopaAmerica and Gold Cup and all the MLS happenings (CONCACAF Club Championships and Superliga)...

Nice job by Donovan to get the US the first corner kick of the night...
Didn't quite work out, but the announcer talked about the "cups of water, atleast I hope that's what it is" coming from the stands...oy!

Nice to see the USA on top...
Holding on strong, looks like it could very well be another US win on American soil against the Mexican side...

Dont lay the world cup on Donovan. The whole team sucked. Arenas was stupid to not include Taylor Twellman last year.

Sloppy first half, but the Americans were able to turn it on the 2nd. Generally good effort all around, the singling-out of Conrad's performance was spot-on. It was nice to see Donovan make some things happen with his play as well. Hopefully they can ramp it up as the competitions begin.

It wasn't water, but it was a brown liquid most likely not beer.
they do the same from the upper deck at Azteca field in Mexico City.

The Team USA played well, fortunately the Mexican defense collapsed late in the second half when they left noone to defend and started to attack the American side. Team USA has a reputation of playing defense with one or two players attacking and that was Mexican coach Hugo Sanchez biggest's mistake in assuming the USA would concentrate on defense. the equivalent to a hail mary pass on your 4 down and you can make it or it can be intercepted.
It was a good friendly game to watch..

I remember my grad school college days in Rotterdam, NL watching the greatest football team in Holland, a real european powerhouse Feyenoord plaing at "De Kuip" (name of the football stadion in Rotterdam).
UEFA cup champion 2002 (year I was there).

No doubt the Dutch are tough, but Arsenal will be ready for them. Could be our 4th match in 10 days, but the Gunners are young, deep, and hungry. Go You Gunners!

I played soccer for one year when I was 7. They made me the goalie, I didn't do anything. I have disliked it ever since.

Nope, but your comments indicate that you're xenophobic mouth breather. You probably watch NECKAR and Pro Bass Fishing and think that's exciting.

Ouch...though I do agree with the sentiment.
While we're at it, GO TOTTENHAM! (So the Spurs aren't doing so hot this year...oh well).
