MEAC football opens the month of October with five games scheduled and 10 teams in action. A pair of undefeated teams in North Carolina Central and Howard highlight the weekend ledger while the final ESPNU weeknight contest takes place Friday night as Morgan State heads to South Carolina State in Orangeburg, S.C. North Carolina A&T State and Savannah State kick off the homecoming season with a pair of games while Norfolk State will meet Florida A&M for the first time since 2014.
