I take UNC b/c I think they looked past NCSU to the Duke game. Roy Williams probably put them thru hell for losing. I think UNC has too much talent although Duke and the refs will keep it close.

Btw, I hate both of them too. This is an impartially biased analysis.

true. Moving on, the games that UNC lost has been to inferior talent, the only teams that truly match up with UNC talent wise are Florida and maybe UCLA(remember im saying talent wise) if UNC plays how they are capable and dook plays how they are capable its Tar Heels by 14. These are all very big ifs though

Sorry, that is a useless stat. How many games was that ass-clown Dougherty the coach for UNC during that 4-16 stretch?? :confused: Compare the recent games between UNC/Williams and Duke/Ratface, not games that were played over 8 years ago and over 2 complete rosters removed.

I hate both of them as well but i think UNC will win. I just don't see anyone one on Duke that can carry them through adversity in a tough game. The only reason Duke might win is the law of averages after their mini losing streak but Duke isn't Duke anymore and really hasn't been in a few years. I'll say UNC 86-79.

In case you guys haven't heard, Carolina won for the second straight time in Cameron. That puts the series to 126-96 Carolina.

Game went pretty much i thought. Close game throughout but in crunch time Duke didn't have anyone to go to pull out a close win. Scheyer played out of his mind for most of the game but Duke got zero bench scoring while UNC got points from 9 different players. Duke is really no better than a fringe Top 25 team right now.

it just proves how horrible dook is. They play the best game of their season and North Carolina plays a little above average and tada, we win. Paulus probably played one of the best games of his career and they still couldnt pull it out. Lose again dook and fall out of the top 25. But hell knowing the media etc. if dook loses 10 in a row they will still be top 25.

yeah, ive had a few family members and now friends who go to UNC and MJ went there so ive always loved them. My dream as a kid was to be play basketball for UNC. but hey when you are only 5'9 its just a dream!

I hear ya! My uncle was the first member of my family to go to college and he went to UNC. I got the chance to catch some games w/ him and became hooked. Carolina was my first love, but I married Appalachian:thumbsup: Got the chance to meet MJ the summer after his rookie year w/ Chi. He was in Chapel Hill at summer school playing golf. Got to sit in his red Merecedes coupe. I'll never forget how he was just one of the boys showing off his new toy to a bunch high school kids in a golf course parking lot.:)
