Melvin was facing heat for defending our head coach who many want out. Our AD has made several key hires and has won several commissioner's cups but all these folks care about is football.

Brian Jenkins teams have gotten worse every year he has been there. He went from 6-5 to 4-7 to would be lucky to win 4 games this year. Getting beat at home by a DII school and only scoring 6 points in the process didn't help. Also getting shut out at home by Prairie View should have made his seat HELL hot. The offense have only scored 20 points this year. He plays Alcorn tonight on ESPNU. I believe if he has an ugly showing or get shut out again he will be fired before the Magic City Classic.

It's possible. One thing for sure is that if he loses in Birmingham this Magic City Classic will certainly be his last one.
