Tulane released their plan recently, which included adding womens' bowling in place of a mens' sport (which I believe was golf). Below, I have an article linked to about the Univ of New Orleans plan in addition to their phasing in of sports and athletic revenues. Best of luck to all NOLA area institutions as they get their act together across the board, not just in the athletic departments...

UNO Athletic Director Jim Miller doesn't just want to restore Privateers sports to their pre-Katrina level. He wants the department to be bigger and better.
Ditto for Chancellor Tim Ryan.
A strategic plan by an outside consulting firm gives them a blueprint to make it happen.
