1. No. 22/NR Liberty (3-1) will play host to 2016 FCS Playoff qualifier Saint Francis (Pa.) (2-1) on Saturday. Both teams are off to their best start in recent years, but both are coming off of their first loss of 2017.

Sorry, my mistake.
Liberty was ranked #16 last week (9/18/2017 poll) before losing 31-10 to Jacksonville State.
The Flames entered tonight's game ranked #22 in the STATS FCS poll.

I’m glad you all were able to give them one last parting gift before they go off into big boy football obscurity.

Wow. Even #22 is sad. That's why I don't bother reading any other polls. Glad they got the win.

You are right, as I had Bryant incorrectly listed for that win. It was SFU's first win vs. a non-conference Top-25 team.

Oops! I was actually missing a previous Top-25 win for a NEC team. Robert Morris beat #14 Liberty at Joe Walton Stadium back in 2010.
I also added an Albany win over #20 Maine in 2009, and some wins vs. Top-25 NEC teams.
NEC wins vs. Non-Conference Top-25
9/9/2006 - CCSU at #13 Georgia Southern (W, 17-13)
9/19/2009 - Albany vs. #20 Maine (W, 20-16)
9/18/2010 - Robert Morris vs. #14 Liberty (W, 30-23)
9/22/2012 – Albany at #23 Maine (W, 30-20)
11/24/2012 – Wagner vs. #24 Colgate (W, 31-20) / NCAA Playoffs
8/30/2014 – CCSU at #13 Towson (W, 31-27)
9/13/2014 – Bryant vs. #23 Maine (W, 13-10)
10/4/2014 – Sacred Heart at #24 Delaware (W, 10-7)
9/30/2017 – Saint Francis at #22 Liberty (W, 13-7)
NEC wins vs. NEC Top-25
9/23/2006 - Albany vs. #23 CCSU (W, 19-14)
10/14/2006 - Robert Morris #19 CCSU (W, 23-17)
11/13/2010 - Bryant vs. #25 Robert Morris (W, 27-21)
11/3/2012 – Wagner at #20 Albany (W, 30-0)
10/25/2014 – Saint Francis at #24 Sacred Heart (W, 30-27)
11/15/2014 – Sacred Heart vs. #21 Bryant (W 14-7)
11/19/2016 – Wagner vs. #25 Saint Francis (W, 31-24)
The only current NEC team without a Top-25 FCS win since 2010 is Duquesne.
So how many non-conference Top-25 wins does the Patriot or Ivy League had since 2010?
