It must be tough on those players to go from a middle school length schedule to a NFL one. No wonder Fitzpatrick sucked ass

Smack talk aside, I think you're in need of a lesson in usage of this website that they just didn't seem to offer at Princeton/Lehigh/Stanford/Illinois State/etc. Here, I'll help you out. You see this picture of basically the main page:

https://imgur.com/a/b8Fzmhttps://imgur.com/a/b8Fzmhttps://i.imgur.com/DGQSeqg.jpg

Right there above "FCS Smack" and below "AGS Tailgating, Meet Ups, Pics, & FCS Potpourri" is a thread titled "The Ins & Outs of FCS." If you look inside the thread you'll see this description:

This board is for talk about scholarship offers, incoming recruits, recruit classes & rankings, former FCS participants and post-FCS all-star games/pro draft/pro performance/pro days/pro potential talk.

Note the former FCS participants aspect of that description. So, when wanting to discuss Ivy League alumni in the NFL, that is where you should start your thread. Sure, east coast and west coast combined elite education will help in many regards, but I guess some things still don't come easy. So, take this as a free lesson from a man educated from a landlocked region! You'll get there one day. xthumbsupx

I've been aware of the Ivy-NFL connection since I was in high school 50 years ago. I went to a high school with a regular pipeline to Yale. I remember two of these Yale players making a splash in the NFL, Chuck Mercrin, mosrly with the New York Giants and Mike Pyle, exclusively with the Chicago Bears.

Excuse my slapsrick...but,... is this ancient Ancient history ?

It's not my fault that your football is irrelevant. Nice attempt at a personal attack. If you mattered I would return the notion. You don't so I needn't bother.

Obviously it would be dumb to ignore the Ivy League's role in the foundation of football. Our argument is once they segregated themselves from the rest of D1 football, they became irrelevant. Yes some talented players are going to slip through to the pros every now and then, but it's the exception, not the rule.

You ivy league boys have more important things than football. Like trying to figure out which gender you are, where to pee, condoning violence and destruction by staff members, halloween costumes, what the word 'master' means, and inviting cross dressing traitors to be "fellows" at your schools.
