Former Citadel football player passes away

Mitchell Jeter, an all-everything defensive lineman passed away over the weekend.

I went to middle school and played football with him in 7th/8th grade. I haven't talked to him in about 10 years or so, but all I can remember about him is that he was a nice guy with a tender heart.

Sad news, a good life gone too early, and a heck of a player....

Jeter was a beast on the field and a nice young man off of it. The world is a lesser place without him in it.
