Backup RB is being taken off on a stretcher with paramedics and training staff from both schools. Hope the kid is OK.

3rd string RB for Fordham is a Connecticut kid (Sheehan HS) who was heavily recruited by CCSU. Set many state HS rushing records.

Absolutely winnable game, and we had the players. We blew it twice. Up by 17 in the first 3 minutes, Fordham responds with 21. Central was up 10 points in the middle of the 3rd quarter and the Rams score 17 to win. Fordham is not a good team, and will be middle of the pack in the Patriot. They have a very good and experienced QB. Seems every time Central faces a PL team at home we get beat by a more talented and experienced QB.

NEC teams can and should regularly beat Patriot and Ivy League opponents. It is not about the talent on the field anymore, we have closed that gap from years ago. The more experienced players on the field and the better coaching usually wins on any given Saturday!
