Good write up. It really is hard to figure out a team when they play an upper level FBS team or a division II squad. IF Murray State is picked 8th? in the OVC, it should be a convincing win for UCA. But when it comes to competition at the FCS level our coaches tend to check out IMO. We as fans are stuck watching the run game 65+% of the game and still no pass defense. That may work for second place in the SLC, but does nothing for us if we reach the playoffs and face teams like EWU, SHSU, and Samford. Good write up though.

I have friends who went to HBU so I have some sympathy for the Huskies. I was hoping they could pull off a win. Beating an FBS team, even a doormat like Texas State, would have been the most impressive win in their program's short history.

Also would have helped the perception of the SLC with an FBS win...albeit small...but it would be a bottom feeder SLC team doing it. I joke about HBU but the SLC needs any cred it can get.

At the end of the segment, he was saying if Sumlin loses to Nicholls, he's going to be gone (yeah, true). But then he added "They are bad!"

Bearkats won, but dang, Prairie View seems to have arrived.
HBU wins again, and this time they didn't need to come from behind.
I was right about Nicholls, but only in terms of win/loss. Texas A&M was horrible today.
ACU loses, but they showed some spunk.
McNeese handled their business.
My first boo-boo. Northwestern stumbles versus Grambling. =
Thunderbirds roast Lumberjacks. No surprise there.
UCA does what they do, win games.
Seconds wrong pick, SLU stumbles in the fourth quarter and lets Bethune Cookman come back. At least it was close.
Lamar destroyed a D2 school like they were supposed to.
Final mistake. I had too much faith that Incarnate Word would improve this year, but SacState is winning 55-8 in the third.
