Looking at the list it would appear these are countries with no NFL Europe team. I'm guessing Germany's got all the real football it can handle with the NFL.

Well that's only partially true. The Netherlands is also in the game, and they have the Admirals. While interest here is definitely picking up, it's not quite easy to start a tradition in football overnight. There is NO tradition for varsity high-school teams for ANY sport in Holland. You basically join a sports club in your region and get noticed that way. This way it's hard for new football clubs to start up, simply for the cost involved. But it's getting there.

After watching the Super Bowl tonight, what do you think would happen if there was a World Championship of American Football?

Lol, is that a serious question?

And by the way, doesn't the Superbowl champion (as well as the World Series champion?) proclaim being a world champion anyway?

Yeah it is a serious question.

I think it'd be interesting to see the winner of the Super Bowl come to Europe and play some of these teams, kinda like they used to do with the NBA champion back in the day. But I think it'd be really interesting to get an NFL All Star Team in a true World Championship (I think there is one but Id have to look into it)

Well the difference between basketball and football is the fact that basketball isn't just an American sport, while football (that kind, anyway) is. Even the NFL Europe teams are essentially filled with NFL players and not more than a handful of native players. I mean, I'd love to see the NFL in Europe (although I like college football infinitely better than NFL), but unless it's a game between two NFL teams, I don't see there being any way non-American players can be competitive with their US counterparts.

well the Junior world championships have been held every year before the Super Bowl for a while now & the Americans havn't had it all their own way
