He did come back. Like I posted earlier their D line did impress me if you can take anything positive away from Eastern's disappointing showing.

On the flip side if you can pull some negatives from NDSU's impressive game, pass protection wasn't great. Stick's going to need more time than he got if we run into a team that can stop the run.

Pretty dominant performance today from our oline. Dunn and Anderson got huge chunks running thru gaping holes. Stick was efficient and made some big pickups on third down. ST still had some issues to work on.

EWU definitely isn't the same team this year. Their WR's just aren't as good yet anyway. Gubrud made some bad decisions but didn't have much help out there. They need to regroup in a hurry starting out 0-2. Good luck Eagle fans on the rest of your season.

The Big Sky certainly appears to be Down with a capital D this year but there's too many wins to be had in the conference for them to not get at least 3 teams and more likely 4. There's 52 in-conference wins to be had in that league. Someone has to get them. EWU could still easily go 7-1 or 8-0 in conference I'd say given how the rest of the league has looked so far. It sure doesn't seem like the Big Sky has a team that's capable of getting into the top 4 seeds this year though.

Oh yeah, I bet they would. It would be similar to UND last year who started 0-2 before winning their last 9 regular season games to end up as the #7 seed. Except this year EWU plays a tougher Big Sky schedule than UND did last year (primarily because those two teams play each other this year) so it would seem even more plausible that EWU at 9-2 is seeded.

I haven't seen NDSU do this to a competent opponent since a couple of those late 5 natty run SDSU games and a few others. This NDSU OL is ruthless.....knock on wood (injuries can obviously derail things), but I'm more cautiously optimistic than I thought I would be at this point in the year.

Nothing wrong with watching The Rams just have their way. Sucks that Radunz is done for the season, but the way they are gelling and now get a week off, look for them just to blow-up RMU and continue to build on that confidence gained from the EWU game heading into the gauntlet of the MVFC. I see things similar to you and this line is starting to remind me of that 13 oline.

Most of the throws that we thought were drops by EWU where just bad throws and most of them were uncatchable. That last 11 minute drive was awesome.

Fordham should be a win but IMO, the He is take this one. 1-3 will be a tough hole to climb out of plus I think UND will beat them.

7-4 might get in but 6-5 will not this year. But hey, they might run the table....who knows.

Exactly. I have learned more about the FCS and football in general in the 3 years or so I have been here than I knew in the previous 22. It is one reason why when UAH asks for donations for the servers and such, I have no problem giving. Now that I am out of college, I will be able to give more and continue to help this group out.

I usually don't post on BV much. Sometimes I post about NDSU players in the NFL. Almost like an echo chamber. Yes, I get it, you want to be FBS, stole recruits from Wyoming big whoop. They had no idea that NDSU was running a significantly different offense for about a year after coach P started doing it till I pointed it out.
