Citdog must have really pissed them up to drop The Citadel to #24. They were 9-0 against FBS in the regular season, 10-1 overall regular season, with three wins over ranked teams. You can argue that the could easily have lost 3-4 of those games, but they didn't. They also have significant graduation and 5th year transfer losses, but #24 is low for a team that only lost top a P5 during the regular season.

I don't get why the national media continues to rank Illinois State so low. To me, they are the solid #3 team in the valley (and the top 2 in the MVFC are easily top 5 in the nation), which to me should put them at least in the top 15.
