My preseason projected NFL Combine invites from FCS

With the season about to start here is a look at those who I would project to go to the NFL combine based on film and scout feedback.

The names on this list who I would imagine would be a surprise to average FCS fans and media would be Phillips, Neal, Williams, and Teuhema. The rest of these guys are pretty well known names and earned some type of All-America mention over the last 2 years.

Looks good. It will be interesting if any of the QBs get an invite (Briscoe, Kincade, Lauletta, Schor). Better class than last year, but no Wentz/Flacco hype, IMO.

I could see one of them going as a throwing QB but none of them are considered draftable so they will need a huge year to probably put themselves in.

Based on early play the only player who I think has hurt his combine chances is Siran Neal. I would add SHSU QB Jeremiah Briscoe to this list. There has also been good play out of Penn WR Justin Watson, Nicholls CB Chris Boutte, UNI WR Daurice Fountain, SEMO CB Mike Ford, and South Dakota QB Chris Streveler.

Just haven't seen him play that well from the position. Not saying he won't end up at the combine because he very well could but he needs to pick it up.
