Western Carolina: Football Seniors Foushee, Kinard Awarded Scholarships

Two Western Carolina football walk-on seniors – running back James Foushee of Sanford and defensive lineman Sheldon Kinard of Charlotte – received news on Wednesday that neither could have expected. Both were awarded full scholarships by sixth-year head coach Mark Speir, aided by special guest speaker U.S. Army Staff Sergeant Adam Palmer, during the afternoon team meeting.
