The Georgetown University football team had two players - junior linebacker J'V'on Butler and sophomore defensive lineman Khristian Tate - selected to the 2017 Patriot League Football Preseason All-League Team. Additionally, the Hoyas were selected to finish in a tie for sixth place in the Patriot League in 2017.
