What's the difference between Homecoming and Family Weekend?

Just like last year, Lafayette will have two games under our belts before participating in Penn's opener. Why this "advantage" doesn't make us more competitive is beyond me.

What's the difference between Homecoming and Family Weekend?
One is in October, one is in November. (sorry, I've got to resist these)
I would imagine HC is geared toward alumni where family weekend is geared toward the families of current students. :twocents:

I am stunned that Bagnoli didn't select Georgetown for Homecoming. I was hoping to see a bunch of old, inebriated, Wharton graduates working their Blackberries. ;) I would expect a nice contingent of Hoya fans to make the trip to Franklin Field and then maybe a stop at Jim's on South Street. I sure hope we can find some seats. :D

Nova always seems to bite Penn in the azz! :p The last two games have gone down to the wire, but Penn hasn't been able to punch in the winning score.

Are you planning a trip to Philadelphia...or any other games this fall?

I dunno - do you think Lehigh's then in Philly's metropolitan area? Maybe Delaware is too? I draw the line at the city limits.

I guess I didn't grow up in Wimington then. :(
Metropolitan areas extend well beyond the city limits. I live in the DC Metropolitan area.
