... instead, teams will have four sets of jerseys and will pick one set to wear for each game, albeit different colors must be used by both teams. Moreover, eight teams will have a fifth set of jerseys.

The five sets are:
- Association (white)
- Icon (team color)
- Athlete mindset
- Community-inspired
- Classic (only eight teams get this)

Can other leagues copy this? Or is this another attempt by the NBA to stay relevant at home? xchinscratchx

I really like the Bullets one. Of course, I thought it was idiotic to change the name to Wizards anyway. And I liked it when they were in Baltimore and were orange and blue.

This is quite the marketing ploy. If you look at the constant change in pro team uniforms so that people keep buying them, it has to be quite the revenue stream.

I'm old school- I prefer home and away to having five sets of uniforms. And of course ticket prices won't be going down...........

This is nothing more than an opportunity to sell more jerseys. IOW=merchandise marketing.

I'm not a fan of all black when it's not one of your primary team colors like Minnesota.

That's a fan mock up.

Only the kings have released their designs.

This isn't any different than it's been for a few years, and this has actually been a rule for that time too.

The only difference is this is setting the number of uniform designs you can have and setting a "theme" for them.
