For: UALR has the advantage of the pissed off Little Rock moneyed class, as the U of A has minimized their footprint in Little Rock (one game on a Thursday night this year against Florida A&M), a 50,000 seat stadium ready to go, and what appears to be a clear and approved path to FBS

Against: UALR leans heavily on student fees to fund what it has now, their donor base is crap considering they have a law school, have to fight an omnipresent presence within their own university system, along with a renegade program in the northeast portion of the state, ZERO appeal outside their own metropolitan area, and that's being generous

I guess they could do it...although it would be nice to have a conference built around a MSU/UCA/UALR/Central Oklahoma core.

I guess the problem I see with this is the unbalanced conferences for football if this happened.
