I'll lead off with Craig Raymond, the first of the 76ers' two "Mormon miracles."

Whenever I hear the words 'Philadephia' and 'draft', I immediately recall the NFL draft when all of the Eagle fans had already purchased Ricky Williams jerseys and Philly selected McNabb. So many boos in the Garden.

Thankfully everything turned out okay for you guys. McNabb's a perennial winner, and Ricky . . . . well, I don't need to go into it.

Flashback number 2.

Lindros refuses to play for the team who drafted him, the Nordiques. Turns and signs with Philly. Goes on to create the Legion of Doom line.

Ahh...memories.

Yeah, so at least he brought some 'entertainment value' that Raymond did not, so I guess Raymond nudges him out. :D

Shawn Bradley, the 7'6 BYU wonder of the world.

He just retired from the Mavs after this season. I was still an NBA (i.e., Sixers) fan when he was drafted. He turned into exactly the type of player I thought he'd be. A big Center who'd always find work in the league. However he certainly wasn't a 1st round pick, let alone a lottery pick! They just threw a *****load of money at him for no reason.

On the plus side, he was easily one of the nicest guys in all of professional sports.
