Eastern Illinois will add five new members to its Athletic Hall of Fame as the Class of 2017 was announced. The ceremony will take place surrounding the Panthers October 7 football game with Tennessee Tech. Entering the Hall of Fame for the Class of 2017 are former athletes Zye Boey, Cara LeMaster and J.R. Taylor, former EIU athletic administrator Dave Kidwell and friend of athletics Joe Strohm.
