With all this news of I-A players coming to I-AA, I was wondering if anyone had a list of I-AA players going to I-A and sitting out a year. I just thought it would be interesting to see.

Ben Jones of Purdue (Butler). He is one of the favorites for the Lou Groza Award, for which he was a semifinalist two years ago. Third in all-time field goals at Purdue.

I don't think he has to sit out a year. The Troy QB came from East Tenn. St. and he did not sit out a year.

when a school drops a program the one year rule is waived.

Larry McSwain of UAB, I believe he started out at Jackson (MS) St.
