... after the latest lawsuit alleges 52 counts of rape and a culture in which drugs, alcohol and sex were encouraged. Would the NCAA sanction them for any of the morally damaging offenses? xcoffeex xeyebrowx

After the Penn State fiasco they may be taking a much more measured response.

As bad as the Penn State scandal was the Baylor situation seems far, far worse! If ever a program deserves the death penalty its Baylor football. What a horrible, horrible place....

That is unbelievable. They should have called in Bill and Hill to consult.

Joe Paterno is one of the largest pieces of **** to ever walk this planet. He is in hell with others of his ilk. Penn State should have never been allowed to field a football team EVER again.

The Big 12 should have added BYU and Houston (or Cinci or whoever) when they had the chance. They may be the Big 9 if they punish Baylor. They seem to have a lot of crap going on there- and coverups. Remember a few years ago when the basketball player got murdered?

The fallout is on...
An accreditation review is possible, that will probably jeopardize Baylor's future academically. http://www.cbssports.com/college-football/news/baylor-faces-possible-accreditation-probation-if-early-review-called-by-board/
The conference Baylor is in will withhold Baylor's share from its total revenues. http://www.cbssports.com/college-football/news/big-12-to-withhold-revenue-instead-of-fining-baylor-until-its-sure-changes-made/

All that's going on now is face-saving activities by the NCAA, the Big12, and Baylor. Most of the bad stuff has already happened, although some of it is just coming to light. A few more firings, an outside investigation and a promise to never do it again and it will soon be business as usual.
It's not just a FBS problem:

We're glad they're not in the SoCon anymore.
