Boxing fans out there, on 1-27 , HBO
Kelly Pavlik from Youngstown, Ohio record 24-0 will meet Jose Luis Vertuche
in a middleweight fight.
If you are a fan, you have got to check out Pavlik. He is 6' 2 1/2", 24 years old and he has been fighting to move up in the rankings. He is there now.
He is a rare combination of Size, boxing ability and the big punch.
This is the first of two HBO fights for Pavilik. If he wins them both he gets a shot at either Taylor or Wright, who have been dodging him (for good reasons) for a year or more.
Check it out.

My boy Ricky Hatton dominated last night and took home another belt.

I'll be watching. Saw Pavlik on Hannon's show the other night. Sounds like a fight with Miranda may be next

I don't think Ronald "Winky" Wright has avoided anyone, ever! He is the best counter puncher in the game.

I love that guy,
Bet him to KO at plus 130--that was before I saw what Uranga looked like!!
Most impressive was that Ricky boxed him.

Nobody will fight Pavlik, nobody, check him out on 1-27. His hook-up with HBO was a key for him. Arum will put pressure on people and he will get to fight the top guys.
p.s. I'm a big fan of Wright.

I was impressed with this guy. The right hand in the sixth was deadly, and the one in the 8th to knock him out was just wrong. He throws punches with BAD INTENTIONS.

He is a very good boxer. I expect him to get a shot against a big name opponent real soon.
