I get that it will happen, it was just so late in the process. Finding out you're not gonna make it until after signing day in my mind means there was some sort of error or miscommunication prior to that. Most schools that have the more restrictive academics won't recruit students unless they know they will get in. Maybe he was borderline or needed his last spring semester to get the GPA where it needed to be, I don't know. I just hate that a student athlete would be declined that late. Thankful he found a home with Duquesne.
