My #1 choice would be the Final Four.

Also on my list (although not in order):
An opening day of the Hoops tourney (4 games, one locale - just my speed)
The ACC hoops Tournament
The Beanpot Hockey Tournament
College World Series
The Calgary Stampede
The Masters

What's on your list?

I have been to the 1st & 2nd rounds of the NCAA hoops tourney many times, but it would still be on my list.

Would also love to go the College World Series, Little League World Series & Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals.

Which will be played here in Louisville next year!!! I'm pretty excited.

But if I could only go to one sporting event a year it would be one that I already attend. The St. X vs. Trinity football rivalry here in town is a spectacle that everyone needs to see. I'm a St. X alum...it's just bitterness at its finest.

The game annually draws nearly 40,000 out to Papa John's Cardinal Stadium. This year it stormed so bad that the wole field was standing water for hours, and the game was called in the first quarter, but there were still well over 30,000 people out there. It's the biggest regular season high school game in the country every year.

Any time the Tigers and Shamrocks throw down people will show up!

Are you sure you want them playing a game 7? I know I would never ever want the Sox playing that far, much rather they wrap it up with some breathing room :p

Final 4-90% i'll get to one, one of my goals, if Temple would ever make it, 100%
The Masters-50%, i'm deffinately going to get to a US Open though since it's held within the NYC/Philly Metro area every 3 years it seems, Merion will be a real possibility in a few years
Super Bowl-20%, too much $$ for 3 1/2 hours
BCS National Title-25%, if ND would make it i'd maybe consider breaking the bank
Speedweeks at Daytona(basically Daytona 500 week)-70% i do atleast the 500, the entire week would be mucho $$$, i've been to the 400 in July
Duke-UNC at Cameron-15%, impossible to get tickets....

The 2008 Alabama/LSU game at Baton Rouge; when Nick Saban goes to Tiger Stadium as head coach of the Crimson Tide.

A high school football playoff semifinal at St. Amant, LA, high school. It's a heck of an atmosphere there under almost any circumstances and I can't imagine what it'd be like with a trip to the championship game on the line.

A high school playoff game in which a team with a supportive community hosts a power everbody hates (like when I went to watch Opelousas High School host John Curtis High School).

A Mount Union football game.

An Odessa Permian/Midland Lee, Texas, football game during a year in which both have really good teams.

How does one hear about the Stampede in New Jersey? :D

Really, if any of you get a chance to go to Calgary for the Stampede, take it. When I went, I was thinking, another rodeo, another parade, another fair, probably similar to Cheyenne or any other western rodeo party in the States. Was I ever wrong. The rodeo on par with the NFR. The parade on par with the Rose Bowl (broadcast live throughout Canada and replayed in Alberta during the week). The carnival similar to Disneyland. And the nightlife, wow! The bars and nightclubs packed every night (maybe similar to Mardi Gras in New Orleans but I've never been there). Temps in Calgary in July run in the mid to high 80's so lots of bikinis.

If I could go to any non FCS sporting event, I'd go back to Stampede.

It all dates back to the Calgary Olympics for me. Of course, had I realized what a nightlife scene it was, I would have tried to go while I was a lot younger (and less married)...
