Interesting numbers. On the site you linked, it shows that 30 FCS teams have played at least 1000 games.
Of note, The Citadel has the most wins of any team with an overall losing record.
Like most statistics, the numbers are meaningless. There are a lot of D2, D3, NAIA, military base, and maybe even some prison team games on school's resumes.

Huh, were only a few good seasons outside the top 30. Not bad considering we sucked for 20 years after we moved to FCS.
We're #23 in all-time win %. I'll take it.

College Football Data Warehouse Link (http://cfbdatawarehouse.com/data/misc/div_iaa_wins.php)
The only problem with total all time number of wins is that some FCS schools have been in existence or have played football a lot longer than other schools and have played a lot more games allowing for more all time wins. I think the schools sorted by all time winning percentages on that link might be a better representation of how successful schools are than just all time number of wins. Just my opinion, though.

(49) Abilene Christian is 2-1 against Florida State and 1-0 vs Arizona State. But, yeah, a W against Lubbock Air Base is also among ACU's 496 wins. No prison teams though. So there's that.

Not when they show Lehigh has nine more wins than Lafayette. Them's fightin' numbers. xslapfightx

Doesn't look like College Football Data Warehouse is including the 2016 season yet.
Here's most wins as an FCS team (note: there is room for debate about when a team is actually FCS so I'm showing what I have for starting/ending years):

Not when they show Lehigh has nine more wins than Lafayette. Them's fightin' numbers. xslapfightx
When you consider how bad Lehigh's football was from about 1925-1950 and the "desert years of 1962-69, it's amazing we're up in the top ten.

Would love to see this list ranked by each team's wins, since they joined FCS football
*Edit: Posted this before I read the entire thread. Thanks for the info AmsterBison!

Lehigh has really been good the last 45 or so years. There's been some off years but no stretch of horrific play and a ton of 9 and 10 win seasons. It would be nice if they could put one legit run together. They're due imo...

Doesn't look like College Football Data Warehouse is including the 2016 season yet.
Here's most wins as an FCS team (note: there is room for debate about when a team is actually FCS so I'm showing what I have for starting/ending years):

Here's what I have for top 30 in all-time wins including 2016. Looks like there are some differences with College Football Data Warehouse that can't be explained just by the exclusion of 2016 games (see Villanova):

Would be interesting to see stats from the modern era whatever that is. Some of the early games for NDSU were against high school teams or the JV and freshman teams at Minnesota.

We did have a great run from 1998-2005 that included a regular season winning streak of about 20 games, as well as some significant playoff wins against Richmond, Western Illinois and very close calls with NCAA Champs UMass and James Madison. Small stretch of 2010-1013 was also pretty good with playoff wins against Towson and UNI. Granted, we haven't reached that "next level" of reaching the "money rounds" but hopefully that is on the horizon.

If your team is old enough, they probably have local sporting clubs and the YMCA on their resume. LOL

Oh yeah we absolutely have local high schools on there. Some Light Guards. The YMCA. An Industrial School.

I'd say the modern era began in 1973 when they split into 3 divisions.
